Three sections of The 100 KM of the Forts route
The complete route of The 100 km of the Forts is divided into three circular routes that are also suggested by the Apt (the Apt information centres have very well made maps of the local area indicating various bike tracks at a cost of just € 2 for printing) and these can be followed independently or combined together:

52.5 km on the Folgaria Plateau (access point Passo del Sommo)

The first section is recommended for fit bikers. It takes 4-5 hours to complete with a significant height difference in ascent.

23.95 km on the Lavarone Plateau (access point Parco Palù)
The second section is very easy with just 360 m of ascent and takes 2-3 hours depending on fitness.

Piazza Marconi
26.48 km on the Luserna Plateau (access point Piazza Marconi)
The third section is mapped by Giscover, in its “long” version of about 40 Km with 1300 m of ascent it is again recommended for a reasonably good level of fitness. You need to be well prepared for cycling, and 1300 m of ascent takes its toll.

Hiking
We also suggest a simple hiking (walking) route, lovely in both summer and winter: the Stella and Sommo fort, leaving from Passo di Sommo (1343 m) and arriving at Forte di Sommo at 1613 m.
